MARISA STEBENNE  

Ms. Stebenne was born in Wheeling, West Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburg in 1982, and by her Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law in 1985.

In the 1987-1988 term, she served as law clerk to the Honorable Eugene M. Lerner of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, Maryland. She followed that by service as law clerk to the Honorable Theodore G. Bloom of the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland during the 1988-1989 term. During her service as Judge Bloom's law clerk many of the substantial cases which now define Maryland's Marital Property Law were reported.

Ms. Stebenne is admitted to practice before the Maryland and Pennsylvania Bars. She is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Anne Arundel County Bar Association.

Ms. Stebenne concentrates her practice in family law, including Divorce, Separation Child Support, Alimony or Spousal Support, marital property division, Guardianship, Adoption and Pre-nuptial Agreements.

Ms. Stebenne is also a qualified mediator. She has completed 60 hours of mediating training including 20 hours of training for Family Law. She is an approved mediator by the Circuit Court of Anne Arundel County.
